Where to stop between Newport and NYC
Old Saybrook, CT - Dock outside at fuel dock, not inside marina which is too shallow. Fancy inn with great food and rooms but expensive. Great for pampering yourself.
Westbrook, CT - Brewer's Pilots Point Marina. Qualified boat yard which could haul & work on boat. Need to enter and leave the marina at least 1 hour before or after low tide. (Good news, the dredging starts next week so this will not be a problem for next time.)
Stamford, CT - Brewers Yacht Yard West - this is where we keep the Formula 1s for the winter.
