North Cove Dock Hands

North Cove is NYC's mega yacht marina (www.TheNorthCove.com).  Reliable and capable individuals are needed to serve as Dock Hands.  The busy season is May through October.  In the off-season, marina maintenance is done.

Candidates with marine backgrounds are preferred.

Dock Hands will perform a variety of tasks from tying up yachts, tensioning and repairing docks, connecting electrical and water service, operating a dinghy, cleaning the marina quays, splicing lines, carrying garbage, cleaning the marina water of debris and directing marina traffic.

We are looking for candidates who are well presented, clean cut and conservatively dressed.  Dock uniforms are worn at the marina. 

Because this is a high-end marine environment, pre-employment drug testing is required and dock masters are enrolled in random drug testing.
