I was born and raised in Sandy Hook, CT. My first boating experience was working for American Cruise Lines based out of Haddam, CT. I worked for them as the head deckhand and ERA ( engine room attendant) I came back and worked for Mystic Seaport in Mystic, CT. There, I worked on the "Sabino" the last fully operational steam engine ferry in the US as a deckhand and engineer. I also had a chance to learn about many older whaling and pioneering vessels. This will be my 4th season working with the companies of North Cove Marina and the Manhattan Sailing Club. I have had the privilege of working here as a dockhand, head of maintenance and a deckhand for the Honorable William Wall, and also to manage the operations of North Cove. |
