Outboard Engines

The Manhattan Sailing Club fleet of J/24s is equipped with 6 hp Yamaha engines.

The club uses Yamaha engines because they have proven reliable over time, offering the greatest dependability and breaking down infrequently.

We purchase our Yamaha engines from K&K Outboard, 3875 Long Beach Road, Island Park, NY 11558, (516) 431-1865.

Directions to K&K Outboard:

Midtown tunnel to Long Island Expressway
to Van Wyck Expressway
to Kennedy Airport
take South Conduit
Conduit turns into Sunrise Highway
into town of Rockville Center (6 or 8 miles)
go right onto Long Beach Road (Pontiac/GMC dealer on corner as landmark)
3 miles south, pass large landfill on left
stay in left lane
go left at first light after landfill
