Race Committee Assignments

Each J/24 racing team is required to assist the Race Committee at least once per year.  So that you do not miss racing, teams assist the RC on the opposite night.  If you race on Tuesday, you do race committee on a Wednesday.  Your team is required to provide 3 or more people for race committee duty, 1 to ride on Greyhound to assist the Race Manager with setting and retrieving marks and 2 to assist the RC chair onboard the floating clubhouse.

If your scheduled RC date does not happen due to bad weather or wind, your RC assignment may be rescheduled toward the end of the season if some weeks are not covered.  If your team fails to show for RC duty, then it is appropriate that your team may not be allowed to sail the following week.  You may trade your week with another team.  If you do this, please also inform the club so the schedule below is accurate.
