Advertising Agency
Regatta
Thursday,
September 21, 2006
Manhattan Sailing Club invites
NYC advertising agencies down for a fun and casual sporting event in NY Harbor.
This event will be known as the Advertising Agency Regatta.
It will be held Thursday
evening, September 21, 2006. Teams should arrive at the club docks by 6
p.m.
Each advertising agency will
be assigned a club boat. Your team should be 4 people. A club
rep will also be provided for each boat. If a member of your team is an
experienced racing skipper, they can steer. If not, our club rep can help
steer your boat.
There will be one
non-spinnaker race to decide NYC's Top Sailing Ad Agency. Bragging rights
will be good for one year until the next regatta.
After sailing, there will be a
party and Awards Ceremony back at the club docks.
Manhattan Sailing Club is
doing this as a free event for advertising agencies. There is no entry fee
to participate. The club wishes to meet more agencies so we can follow up
during the winter on our various advertising and sponsorship opportunities.
This event is limited to 10
teams.
If your advertising agency would like to
enter a boat, please complete the entry form below.
