Architect's Regatta Information
The perpetual trophy presented to the winning architectural firm
in the Challenge NY Architect’s Regatta
was created by Les Metalliers Champenois
who was commissioned to create a new torch and flame
for the Statue of Liberty in 1984.
The company received the commission
because of its roots and experience in preserving
some of Europe’s finest monuments
which included the Château de Versailles.
