Report from the 2007 Primo Cup
Day 2 - Friday, Racing, Dinner & Karament

"Hi David, yes I'm here in Monaco!  It's great!"

Let's do some sight seeing!

Let's do some glamour shots!

Let's try to figure out what all these lines are for!

Ok, you pull that one and I'll pull this one.  Or is it the other way around?

Our Mumm 30 sailors.

Our Smeralda sailors.

Finally we are on the water and ready to "defend the honor of our sailing club."

"Hey guys, take my picture with Monaco in the background!"

Back in the harbor, Seaway was getting ready to head out.  Life is full of leisure.

But first, you have to raise the anchor!  Heave ho!

Seaway is an absolutely gorgeous boat.  Super beautiful.

Do you think Christophe would mind if I steered for a bit?

On the way out, you could see the Fairmont from the water.  This was our team hotel.

On the other side of the harbor is Monaco's famous Marine Museum.

Do let's go see the races.  David snaps pictures while Christophe checks the horizon.

Karun and James ride on the foredeck.

So let's see, where are our race boats?

Here comes the fleet.  Let's look closely.  We don't see them yet.

There they are!

What a brave group of sailors.  We love them so much.  No need to win.  They're spreading international goodwill by making everyone else feel good.  Our sailors are just the perfect guests.

"No need to panic.  We're just learning the ropes," suggested the optimistic Commodore.

Franck comes up along the flagship wearing his Royal Caribbean medal.

Were else in the world except Monaco does the club have a Wally boat as tender?

Well, regardless of how we do no the water, we are still sitting on this beautiful yacht in Monaco, drinking champagne while it is freezing in New York City.  Life is good, very good!

The sun begins to set near the Casino.

"Christophe, thank you so much for being our flagship," says the Commodore.

"My pleasure," responded Christophe and Margot smiles after a long day on the race boat.

Eventually to dinner.  This time, everyone stood up and made a toast.  What a great group of people.

From dinner it was off to Karament night club where some of the sailors kept going and going and going.  After all, we were in Monaco to spread international goodwill.
