The Club Fleet
The Manhattan Sailing Club
fleet consists of privately owned yachts as well as club-owned
yachts.
As of 2009, there are 18
privately owned yachts, 32
club-owned J/24 sailboats plus other club-owned boats.
Some of these are kept at North Cove
and others are kept in other harbor locations
J/105s
In 2008, our club began
promoting the J/105 class and encouraging members to buy these boats.

Club Owned Yachts
The sailing club began in 1987
with a fleet of 12 white J/24s. These were numbered 1 to 12. The
white fleet is now 14 boats in size and still numbered the same. More
recently, as the club has been expanding J/24s, these newly added boats have
been painted red and named after the great clipper ships which used to sail in
the harbor in the 1800s. Below is a list of club-owned boats:
