fleet when it was 14 boats at North Cove. This was before the floating clubhouse and
the club office was located on the Enterprise at the upper right.
North Cove
- The main facility
of the Club is located at North Cove Yacht Harbor in Battery Park City. The club
keeps most of its J/24s on floating docks in the center of this cove. North Cove is located
in front of the World Financial Center in Battery Park City.
By Foot or Bike: Get on the Hudson River
esplanade & bike path. Then go north or south, depending on your location under you
reach Battery Park City and the World Financial Center. North Cove is the center of it
all. Nearby is the Winter Garden and a bar called "South West
NY."
By Subway: Take any subway to
near the World
Trade Center. Then walk over to the World Financial Center. North Cove is right in front of you. You enter the floating docks at the south side of the marina.

Today, the fleet at North Cove consists of many J/24 sailboats. The club office is
located on the floating clubhouse, a 45 foot pontoon boat.
By Taxi: Tell the driver to go Battery
Park City and get out at the corner of Liberty Street and South End Avenue. Then walk down
to the esplanade and you will see North Cove right away. You enter the school docks from
the south side of the marina.
Liberty Harbor Marina -
The club has
2 slips at the Liberty Harbor Marina in Jersey City
on "T" dock.
By Car: From NJ - Take NJ Turnpike to Holland
Tunnel. Follow signs to the Tunnel. At very last street before tunnel, go right onto Marin
Blvd. Continue on Marin through Jersey City. Marin Blvd deadends at Liberty Harbor Marina.
From NY - Go through the Holland Tunnel and go left on Marin Blvd, the first
street after the tunnel.
Continue
on Marin through Jersey City. Marin Blvd deadends at Liberty Harbor Marina.
Ferry - Take
the NY Water Way Ferry from Pier 11 on the East River.
The ferry docks at Liberty Harbor Marina.
PATH Train - Take the PATH train to Grove
Street. Then take a cab or walk east one block until Marin Blvd. Turn right
(south) and continue on Marin to the very end.
