Membership Committee Meetings

To become a member, you must complete an application and attend a Membership Committee meeting.

A list of Membership Committee meetings is at right.

These are group meetings chaired by the Membership Coordinator.

During the sailing season, the meetings are held on the Honorable William Wall, our floating clubhouse in the harbor.  In the case of bad weather when the clubhouse is closed, these meetings are held at the Floating Classroom at North Cove.  During the winter season, the meetings are held at various locations as indicated.

Dress is casual or you may wear clothes straight from work.  Please always arrive promptly.  Depending on the size of the group, meetings usually last from 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

During the meeting, you will be asked to give your personal background as well as sailing experience.  At the end of the meeting, you will be asked to sign the Membership Agreement.

Membership Committee Meetings:
In order to attend a membership committee meeting, you must submit an application at least 24 hours in advance and your name should show up on this list.  The club office will send you a Membership Primer before your meeting.  If you just show up without being on this list, you will be invited to attend the next meeting.
